Application for Admissions
Enrolling Now for the 2008-09 School Year
Visit one of our enrollment events or call to arrange a classroom tour. Limited openings for immediate enrollment in selected classes.
We encourage you to get to know our school and Waldorf Education by attending an Enrollment Event and touring our school. Our application process is described below:
1. Parent reviews materials describing the Minnesota Waldorf School and Waldorf education and attendance at one or more of our enrollment events.
2. Parent submits an application, records request, and a $45 application fee. Midyear enrollment applications are processed if space is available in the class.
3. Teacher reviews your application.
4. For Pre-School and Kindergarten: Child attends a Kindergarten Day with parent. A visit
during regular Kindergarten hours may also be requested.
For Grade 1: Child visits Kindergarten for one morning. Parents and child meet with a teacher for interview and first grade readiness assessment.
For Grade 2-8: Student spends three days attending prospective class.
5. Parents meet with class teacher to discuss teacher’s observations and to answer parents’ questions.
6. If student is accepted into the class, parents sign a tuition contract and make a $400 non-refundable deposit to hold the child’s place in the class.
